How are you??
Being authentic is great to have in our lives and this blogsite encourages us to have authentic fellowship this is from verse 1 John 1:7-8 ( But if we walk in the light, just as he also is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we claim that we have no sin, then we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.)
When people get honest about who they are and what is happening in their lives. They share their hurts, reveal their feelings, confess their failures, disclose their doubts admit their fears, acknowledged their weakness and ask for help and prayer.
BEING AUTHENTIC requires both COURAGE AND HUMILITY. It means facing our fear of exposure, rejection or being hurt again.
Why would anyone take such a risk?
Because it's the only way to grow spiritually and become emotionally HEALTHY.
Having this blog takes me to conquer my fear inside of me, fear of not good enough, fear of this thinking of other people " judging me", fear of no one will like my blog. It takes a lot of prayers to overcome this silent battle in me. Over time as I continue my prayer day by day I realized to focus on my purpose my "WHY" I wanted to have a blog.
I want to give my best as of the moment informing about nutrition, diet, self-improvement, relationships. Because I'm passionate about it and to help those people who are on this journey on improving areas in their life.
And accepting my flaws as I'm not perfect and that is okay and what matter is the desire to be better every day, looking and searching for ways to learn and grow, evaluate experiences to gain more wisdom.
I choose to be exposed to, risk of experiencing rejection or being hurt because it is worth it in growing spiritually and emotionally healthy.
Whatever you face fear of doing the things you wanted, to achieve your dreams. Take a calculated risk, do fail to learn, be better and enjoy life to the fullest.
*Talk It Over
Which of these is most difficult for you to do with a friend: share hurts, reveal feelings, confess failures, disclose doubts, admit fears, acknowledge weaknesses, or ask for help and prayer? Why do you think this is so?
Think of a time when you were able to confess a weakness to a friend. How did that affect your relationship?*
