KNOWING WHAT WE CHOOSE EVERYDAY (Self or God)

I read the devotional regarding Choosing each day :( Self or God)

As a reflected on this plan it takes me back to how I spent my time this morning. As I open my eyes and saw a little light coming from our small window. Stretching my body, I felt alive. Reaching out to my bedsheet to fix my bed. I step out and walk to the kitchen and drink 1 glass of water, get my unwashed clothes and put it in the washing machine. Going inside the living area and went to the room and lock it and started my morning prayer. The intention is there to have a conversation, build,  grow my relation to God but I know that I felt distracted while praying. I thank God for the gift of life, asking forgiveness and asking for guidance, protection, clarification.

It is good to observe myself that most of my morning I spend it with God, to make him my top priority to build relationships in him, and yes I have some days that I forget to do my morning prayers when I'm so overwhelmed by the things that I need to do. It is ok, if I miss out on some days I make sure it will not last for 2 days by looking at my journal help me remind and evaluate my activities for a week and months. To know where am I spiritually and to know how I grow by knowing and solving my character.

From the devotional, it is suggested that "Begin today by taking a moment to identify the things, the thoughts,  the activities, or the emotions that can consume you and keep you from worshipping God and serving Him".   It can be started by taking a small walk from your garden or favourite place where you can reflect by having your favourite notebook and pen, enjoy the place. Just write what feels right to answer those questions.

"As we seek to choose the Lord each day, it’s necessary to remember that we all have a desire to follow our flesh and think or do whatever “feels” right or seems easiest"
Let's face the truth that we have a body( flesh) that have its natural desire to please the body. Just remember we have the choice to follow the flesh or the spirit of God. Being aware of our behaviour and triggers gives us the power to take action toward the improvement of our life especially our spiritual life. Let's begin from the time you wake up each morning, what is the first thing that you will see? is the wall of your room? then we can write bible verses on a sticky note that we can easily remember to talk and give thanks to the Lord. If not it can be anywhere where you can easily read.

"Remember, you can choose each day whom you will serve. And though it will take a moment-by-moment reorienting of your mind throughout your day, this choice begins first thing in the morning. So as you enter into this daily choice, trust in the One who created the new day and you. He will provide the grace you need to make each new day His"

I pray that we start to choose God most of the day. That his words give comfort from our worries and fear. It will be our guide to be more Christ most of our actions and behaviours, to give more for our family, friends, workmates and other people. To live life to the fullest is a sign of worshipping the goodness of our God.

Nutrition and foods to consume while breastfeeding your child

Hi, You have a beautiful baby there. That little human you have is the best blessing you have right now. I know that you really love your baby and you want to give him the best. You want to provide and give a better life than you have ever experienced in the coming days in this world.  One of the greatest investments that you can make right now that will benefit your baby is to start the right nutrition early to see your baby healthy, that is, away from harmful disease. Since your baby will solely depend on your milk for breastmilk for the first 6 months, your nutrition will greatly influence the nutrition of your baby. Your body produces milk and the composition depends on your diet. For example, the fat ( fatty acids) content of your milk depends on your current diet as well as the milk concentrations of selenium, iodine, and some of the water-soluble B vitamins. Your baby is growing fast, and it needs enough nutrients to support it. The breast milk that comes from you is very im...

8 Practical Ways to Love Yourself

Part of self-improvement is learning to love yourself properly. I've shared in my previous blog regarding my journey of self-improvement. Those experiences led me to this area of my life that I want to improve. I've researched, read books, articles, journals, and watched videos related to this area of interest that I want to improve in. That simple step is a life changer. It helps me in my progress. I just want to share my humble learning that might help you. All the information that I gathered in that article, books, and audiobooks was really helpful, but the core heart of self-love I found in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13:4–8. Love is kind and patient; it does not envy or boast, and it is not arrogant or rude.It does not insist on its way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. Love bears everything, believes everything, hopes everything, and endures everything.Love never ends. As I read this verse over and over again, it...
